The Overall Objective:
To contribute to regional growth by improving women’s participation in the labour market focusing on:
• Horizontally segregated labour markets
• The lack of women in innovation and technology
• The lack of women in entrepreneurship

The project aims to shape regional, national and EU-level policies and development programmes that relate to women’s status in the labour market and ensure these policies are integrated into mainstream provision.

Interreg IVC Capitalisation project, WINNET 8 has support from The Interregional Cooperation Programme INTERREG IVC, financed by the European Union´s Regional Development Fund the European Union´s Regional Development Fund, helps Regions of Europe work together to share experience and good practice in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and riks prevention. EUR 302 million is available for project funding but, more than that, a wealth of knowledge and potential solutions are also on hand for regional policymakers.
